Illustration of List Item Properties

(A) Default Unordered List

• First item in the list. This list has the "default" style properties, with no CSS rules to control the layout.
• Second item in the list. Again, with no special formatting.

(B) Unordered List:

• First item in the list. This list has the properties list-style-image: url(red.gif) (referencing a red "bullet" image) and list-style-position: inside .
• Note how these two rules change the bullet to the desired image, and put the bullet "inside" the list box.

(C) Ordered List:

1. First item in the list. This list has the "default" list properties, with no special CSS rules to control the layout.
2. Second item in the list. Again, there are not special CSS rules attached to this.
